 May 3 @ GMS- Spring Music Program. The program will begin at 6:30, but children should be at GMS by 6:00


  READING: alphabet letters Aa-Zz. Both beginning and ending sounds of /S/, /M/, /D/, /P/,short vowel /A/, /H/, /T/, /N/, /L/, short vowel /I/, /B/, /C/, short vowel /O/, /R/, /G/, /J/, /F/, short vowel /U/, /X/, /Z/, /W/, /K/, short vowel /E/, /Q/, /Y/, /V/, long vowel /A/, long vowel /I/, long vowel /O/, long vowel /U/.  High frequency words: a, the, and, go, had, he, I, see, has, you, we, of, in, am, at, to, as, have, it, is, can, his, him, on, did, girl, for, but, up, all, look, with, her, what, was, were, said, that, down, they, some, there, boy, out, do, little, then, when.(children will need to recognize high frequency words for their report card assessment). Naming words (nouns), rhyming words, describing words, sequencing, opposites, action words (verbs), word blending, compound words, syllables, writing words/sentences, pronouns, word tenses.  


MATH:  Measurement.  Addition using touch math.


SCIENCE:  Life cycles of a plant, butterfly, frog


RESOURCE (2:00-2:40) 

               Monday:         NO SCHOOL

               Tuesday:        Day 1:  Gym

               Wednesday:   Day 2:   Guidance

               Thursday:      Day 3:   Library

               Friday:           Day 4:  Music

               ****On Gym days children are to wear tennis shoes****
