Weekly Lesson Plans 




January 14 - January 18


Our class is in need of snacks.  Any non-perishable contributions will be greatly appreciated by the children who do not get ice cream.  Thank you so much!


January 11- End of 2nd 9 weeks for Kindergarten

January 22- Report cards go home

February 18- Parent/Teacher Conferences from 4-7 p.m.


 READING: alphabet letters Aa-Zz. Both beginning and ending sounds of /S/, /M/, /D/, /P/,short vowel /A/, /H/, /T/, /N/, /L/, short vowel /I/, /B/, /C/, short vowel /O/, /R/, /G/, /J/. High frequency words: a, the, and, go, had, he, I, see, has, you, we, of, in, am, at, to, as, have, it, is, can, his, him, on, did, girl. (children will need to recognize high frequency words for their report card assessment). Write first and last name with beginning capital letter and the remaining letters lowercase.  Naming words (nouns), rhyming words, describing words, sequencing, opposites, action words (verbs), word blending, compound words, syllables, writing words/sentences.  


MATH:  Number recognition to 70.  Children will need to recognize, count, and write these numbers.  Graphing. Comparing numbers (more, greater, less, fewer, equal). Counting sets to 15.


SOCIAL STUDIES:  Careers/Community Helpers
